Description
Come and enjoy the National Vercors de Baraquant Horse Breed Show. This is an opportunity for breeders to present their horses and for visitors to discover and appreciate the breed through a variety of activities.
Organized by the ANCV to promote the Baraquant Horse breed, the competition will take place during Corrençon en Fête.
On Saturday, August 1, a series of events will assess each horse, including the conformation and gaits competition, the young horses class, and the mares with foals at foot class. Each judge will score the horses according to a detailed evaluation grid based on the breed standard.
On Sunday, August 2, additional events will be held, including the public vote for the cutest foal, the young horses class, the ridden performance class, and the driving class. This day will help assess the horses to guide their future development, prepare them for the market, select breeding stock, and promote the breed.
A horse carousel display will also take place throughout Sunday.
