“I really enjoyed myself, it was a great atmosphere and I had a lot of fun. The GFNY is a bit of a ritual; every year in May it’s the start of my preparation, so it’s a good opportunity to do a bit of cycling and enjoy the roads of the Vercors. For me, the GFNY is about races that are very fast and very fun. It was an honour to be at the start of this race and to be able to show off this beautiful region to all those who took part. I think a lot of people will be coming back because it’s such magnificent scenery. As an ambassador for Villard-de-Lans, if I can share my experience of this kind of event, I’d be delighted to do so.
