Corrençon (1,111 m altitude) is located at the southernmost point of the 4 Montagnes, just a few kilometres from Villard-de-Lans. The road stops at this little village at the end of the world, the gateway to the protected areas of the Vercors High Plateaux Nature Reserve.

In winter, the real advantage of Corrençon is the easy access from the village centre to the largest alpine and Nordic ski area in the Vercors, linked to Villard de Lans.
