Cross-country skiing or snowshoeing is great, but you have to admit it can make you hungry. Don’t worry, here’s a list of restaurants where you can ski to your heart’s content!

At the start of the Bois Barbu cross-country ski runs in Villard de Lans, Le 3636 welcomes you for a tasty snack or meal by the fire, just like at home! The menu features local and seasonal cuisine, so you can spend a relaxing moment with your family, friends or on your own!


Clariant

Opposite 2 Moucherolles, in the middle of the Corrençonnaise forest, discover the little jewel of Le Clariant. On the terrace, next to the braziers, or inside by the open fire, this is the perfect place to spend some quality time!

For a snack or a good meal, the Clariant will give you a warm welcome! Treat yourself to quality mountain specialities based on local cheeses and charcuterie.

As night falls, follow the Path of the Illuminated Ones to guide your steps back to the inn. Take the return route to finish your evening by torchlight.


The High Plateaux

At the start of the Corrençon Nordic ski area, take the time to enjoy the large dining room with its open fireplace at the Hauts Plateaux restaurant. It’s the ideal place to relax over a gourmet tea, or to sample the refined, local cuisine of the day. The products are carefully selected, with an emphasis on short and organic circuits. The wine list is made up of bio-dynamic and organic wines.


Malaterre

After a lovely 4km walk from Bois Barbu, in the heart of the Alloubière forest and its ancient trees, discover the unique world of the Malaterre inn. Let yourself be lulled by the stories and legends told by Bernard and Lydia, while savouring the delicious dishes prepared by Alice. On the table, you’ll find dishes prepared with local produce, fresh mushroom omelettes, delicious tatins baked in a wood-fired oven, homemade hot chocolate or homemade bread with jam to taste!
