  • Over the years, it has become an unmissable gastronomic event, the Scallop Festival is back for its 16th edition in Villard de Lans on March 22 & 23.
    Animations by great Chefs, tastings and sales, Breton specialities, concerts.

  • This year, we have the pleasure to receive a sponsor of competition with the chef Christophe Le Fur.
    Starred chef of the Auberge de Grand Maison in Mur de Bretagne, he has honored us with his presence for years and has agreed to be the sponsor of this 14th edition.

    The talent of Great Chefs and the freshness of this exceptional product, arriving directly from the Bay of St Brieuc, make this event an atypical celebration in the mountains.
    A dedicated fishery of about forty boats allows...

    A dedicated fishery of about forty boats allows to bring 40 tons of scallops in the night of Friday to the early morning of Saturday.

    - paying tastings of appetizers prepared by our Chefs
    - musical animations with Breton groups, brass bands, Fest-Noz
    - market of local products and Breton specialities (Kouign Amann, Breton cakes, ciders, chocolate...)

    You can pick them up at the stand in front of the Coupole during the week.

    How to taste the bites prepared by our chefs:
    You will have to pay for the tastings with tokens sold at the chalet at the entrance of the market. For information 1 token = 3 €.
    Then, you just have to present yourself in front of the stands of the chefs whose recipes you wish to taste.
    These tokens are also used to pay for the Saint Jacques burgers, the pancakes, the galettes, and other preparations to take away as well as the drinks.

    Access / Where to park?
    On one of the parking lots of Villard de Lans (limited places).

    Only on Sundays: from the hamlet of Geymonds, take the free shuttle bus that runs continuously from 9am to 5pm.

    This event is organized by the association "Cuisine et passion en Vercors", in collaboration with the Tourist Office of Villard de Lans.
    Partners of the event : Pavillon France, the Department of Isère, France Bleu Isère - France Bleu Drôme Ardèche & the fish shop of Villard de Lans.
