The mountain kart can be used independently by anyone at least 1 metre tall. Children between 1 metre and 1.30 metres tall may ride the mountain kart in pairs, accompanied by an adult. The driver must show consideration for other users and be able to control their speed.

What equipment is compulsory?

Wearing a helmet is compulsory, as is wearing closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). Helmet hire is included in the price. We also recommend wearing sunglasses or goggles to protect against dust and small particles, as well as long trousers and a long-sleeved top.

No reservations are taken, even for groups (only in summer – reservations required in winter at contact@esf-villard-de-lans.net). Please go directly to the ticket office. Groups of more than 15 people are invited to contact us on 04.76.94.50.50.

Discover Mountain Kart!

Enjoy tracks stretching over 9km with a 500m elevation gain – on your own, with family or with friends!

Whether you’re in it for the competition or just a fun ride, you’re sure to have a great time and enjoy the thrills.

Summer 2026

June and September: open every weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

July–August: open every day from 9am to 5pm (subject to weather conditions).

Hop aboard your motorless, all-terrain three-wheeler and hit the track!

Starting from the Balcon de Villard Cote 2000 and covering over 9km of trails, navigate a series of bends and slopes through the forest and open spaces.

New this season: two trails, two different experiences!
Since this summer, after a 2 km descent, take your pick:

Trail 1: the classic route – accessible and as much fun as ever
Track 2: the new route, more technical and intense, for even more adrenaline over 2 km

Try drifting your kart through the bends for an extra thrill and push yourself to the limit. With this excellent suspension, no obstacle will stand in your way!

Once you’ve reached the bottom and recovered from the thrill, there’s only one thing on your mind: going back up!
