Cross-country skiing

A young Nordic skier, Juliette joined the Villard de Lans team in 2020.
She is currently in the French national team.

What do you like best about your sport?

The feeling of freedom combined with the pain of effort, pushing back your limits.

What’s your favourite memory of Villard/Corrençon?

Spending time with my family and friends, picnicking and walking at Bois Barbu and the Château Julien lookout. Here, we live with the seasons: in spring, we pick daffodils and lilies of the valley, and in autumn, it’s the turn of the mushrooms.

3 words that define the destination for you?

Home – Happiness – Nature.

What’s your favourite spot in Villard/Corrençon?

My favourite secret spot is the little field behind my father’s house, perfect for taking a nap in the sun, reading a good book and slowing down a bit. Otherwise, I love eating at the Auberge du Clariant in Corrençon.

    How does the coming season look for you?

    I’ve had superb preparation for this new season, all the indicators are green and I can’t wait to get back out on the snow and into competition.

    The competition season is great because it’s a perfect blend of euphoria and renewal. Everything is put back on the line with each new start and that makes you want to push yourself even harder.

    2025

    After winning La Transjurassienne, Juliette shone at the FESA Cup in Planica with a second place and three third places in the 10km!

    2024

    World Cup

    New World Cups for Juliette in Oberhof and Goms! A fine 8th place in the 4×7.5km relay and 12th place in the 4x5km relay respectively!

    2023

    World Cup

    For the first time this season, Juliette took part in a World Cup, with major events including the Les Rousses World Cup, the Planica World Championships and the Oslo 50km. She took part in a total of 20 events.

    Her greatest successes:

    6th in the women’s relay at the World Championships in Slovenia
    12th in the final ascent of the Tour de Ski
    16th in the 30km classic at the Planica World Championships

    2022

    European Cup

    6th in the skating mass start in Saint-Ulrich
    8th in the individual classic in Saint-Ulrich
    7th in the skating mass start in Oberstdorf
    5th in the individual classic in Planica
    6th in the skating mass start in Sappada

    Other notable performances:

    1st in the Les Rasses marathon (Switzerland), 42 km classic
    3rd at the French Club Championships (relay)
