Destination excellence

Our commitment : Towards the “Destination of Excellence” label

At Villard-de-Lans and Corrençon-en-Vercors, excellence isn’t a destination, it’s an ongoing journey. Since 2017, our Tourist Office has been committed to a rigorous quality approach to offer you the best of the Vercors.

A renewed ambition for 2026
The national “Qualité Tourisme” label is evolving and becoming Destination d’Excellence. More demanding, this new label places hospitality, eco-responsibility and customer satisfaction at the heart of our missions.

Our wish: for the summer of 2026, we’ve decided to apply for the new government label Destination d’Excellence. It’s a stimulating challenge that mobilises all our teams to further professionalise our services while preserving the authenticity of our region. Our priority? That every visitor feels listened to, well informed and respected in their environmental values.

Villard de Lans

Our commitments to you

As part of our preparations for the label for summer 2026, we are reinforcing our standards around 8 fundamental pillars:

  • An exceptional welcome: smiling, human and personalised.
  • Local expertise: advisors who live and breathe the area and share their nuggets.
  • Mastery of languages: To welcome people from all over the world with the same attention to detail.
  • Accessibility and clarity: Reliable, up-to-date information that’s easy to find.
  • The comfort of our spaces: Warm, well-tended reception areas.
  • Eco-responsibility: An active approach to reducing our footprint and promoting sustainable tourism.
  • Active listening: We analyse every piece of feedback to improve.
  • Promoting expertise: highlighting our local producers, craftspeople and service providers.

Your opinion is the driving force behind our development

Because this approach to excellence is built with you, your feedback is invaluable. It helps us to adjust our services with a view to our certification audit scheduled for summer 2026.
