For the 5th edition, the GFNY will be taking to the roads of the Vercors from Villard de Lans on Sunday 24 May 2026.
What is the GFNY (Gran Fondo New York)?
It’s a race for cycling enthusiasts, bringing together athletes of all levels from all over the world.
Take part or come and cheer on this exceptional race!
On the programme: a personal endurance challenge, magnificent scenery and a unique atmosphere.
The 2026 programme
Saturday 23 May – new in the village
- 9am – 7pm: Opening of the exhibition, registration and collection of race numbers at the glass roof in the Tourist Office building in the heart of the village.
Enjoy the village centre with its shops and services and, above all, the festive atmosphere of the Halles de Villard gourmet event on the Place de la Libération.
Sunday 24 May – at Cote 2000
- 6am – 7am: Last bib withdrawals at the balcony in Villard / Cote 2000
- 8am: Start of the GFNY
- 10am: Arrival of the first runner on the medium course
- 12.50pm: Arrival of the first runner on the long course
- 2.30pm: Prize-giving ceremony

For participants: the registration fee is progressive over time depending on the registration date: from €79 to €279 (excluding expenses).
For spectators: free access open to all.
