The last queen Jean-Marc Rochette

Vercors Luca Melcarne

Young wildlife photographer Luca Melcarne gracefully draws us into his poetic world. At just 24, he recently won the prestigious ‘Rising Star’ award in the renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Luca Melcarne invites us to share his unique view of nature, revealing magical moments and subtle details unique to the Vercors wildlife.

Françoise from the Au Temps Retrouvé bookshop has fallen in love with the book 💚 “Photographs that we’re not used to seeing”, she says. These words reveal the singularity and originality of this project, partly carried out in the heart of the Vercors High Plateaux reserve.


The companions of the liberation Jean-Yves Le Naour - Claude Plumail

This comic book drops us into the maquis in 1944. Pierre, a young maquisard, is a liaison officer in the Vercors. In 1990, he returns to the scene, in the town of Vassieux-en-Vercors, with his 15-year-old granddaughter and passes on a piece of history and memory by telling her about his maquis.

This novel plunges us into a fictional setting in the heart of the Vercors plateau in 1944. Marie Valette, aged 24, is found in a forest, raped and dead.
