What to do when it rains

1. Aquatic centre

A rainpour that soaks us to the bone can be fun for a little while, but its even better enjoyed indoors. To enjoy water in a different way, head to the Villard-de-Lans aquatic centre. Between the flumes, the waves, the racer slide and the two huge indoor and outdoor pools, a swimming trip will be a guaranteed success!

Safely indoors, put on your skates and discover skating on ice! An activity thats sure to delight both young and old. To the music and once you’ve found your balance, let yourself glide like a professional skater.

Get the competition going at the bowling alley! For a heated match and the chance to show off your best throw, there’s nowhere better. So, will it be a strike or a gutterball for you?

4. The Heritage Museum

To learn more about the history of the Vercors Quatre Montagnes plateau and Villard/Corrençon, visit our Heritage Museum. On the ground floor, you’ll find two temporary exhibition halls which are regularly updated.

The musuem traces the everyday lives of countryside communities on the Vercors plateau at the turn of the 20th century. It evokes the region’s agricultural and forestry activity, and the progressive opening of this region to health resorts and mountain tourism.

5. Cinema
