2- Admire the Vercors mountain range by ski

Love the view of Vercors from the plateau? Well, let us tell you that from the summits it’s something else entirely! For pure delight, we offer you the chance to enjoy it with zero effort. To do so: take the Belvédère chairlift (Corrençon side) and arrive at the summit to enjoy a 360° view of the ridges of southern Vercors, stretching out as far as Mont Aiguille, and across the entire plateau of Villard-de-Lans/Corrençon en Vercors. A magnificent view to enjoy at any time of the day. The perfect spot for Instagram photos: don’t hesitate to share your most beautiful photos on social media with the #villarddelans/corrençon hashtag.

3. Experience little Scandinavia in Vercors on cross-country skis

No need to visit the Nordic countries to discover beautiful Nordic landscapes. Here, in winter, the Nordic area of Haut-Vercors offers you the same great setting with vast plains of white and forests of snow-covered firs.

A Nordic area where enchantment is the order of the day!

With its 155 km of packed and carved slopes to enjoy skating or classic skiing, you’ll feel the immediate sensation of becoming immersed in nature and disconnected from the rest of the world. Let yourself be carried away with the beauty of the site, even more magical the morning after new snowfall!

4. Gourmet break, with hot chocolate and waffles/crepes

After a great day enjoying the snow, what could be better than the heat and the delicious aroma of a good hot chocolate? The absolute must? That would be a hot drink, that burns our hands and lips, accompanied by a delicious treat such as a waffle or crepe. This little ritual sweetens our holiday and heats up our hands immediately!

5. Have a great time at the indoor ice rink

At the heart of the Complexe Espace Loisirs leisure centre, wrap up warm (hats and gloves recommended), get on your skates and take your first steps on ice. Kicksleds are available to help little ones get to grips with skating. As for the older ones – send your mind back to your childhood rollerskates! The movement is very similar, all you have to do is work out your balance and you’ll be ready to go!
Let yourself glide to the music …

Entertainment during school holidays and afternoons, plus hockey matches with the Ours team and ice-dancing galas in the evenings.

6. Try a Bleu du Vercors raclette

With the grill heating up in the middle of the table, a dish of cold cuts ready to devour, a bowl of still-smoking potatoes and a beautiful board of local cheeses … Just thinking about it makes your mouth water! Here, we call it the “Vercouline”. This raclette is enjoyed with Bleu du Vercors-Sassenage protected-origin cheese. Very mild, it makes a fantastic alternative to traditional raclette. To try it is to love it.

7. Après-ski in the wave pool and Nordic bath

Who said that swimming was just for summer? Don’t forget to pack your swimsuit (and cap): the Villard aquatic centre welcomes you with an indoor flume, paddling pools for the little ones and THE ultimate wave pool! A moment of pure relaxation, adored by both young and old. Encrich your experience by trying out our Nordic bath. Take courage and a deep breath, step out of the water, push open the door and head towards our outdoor pool to jump into water heated to 32 degrees celcius! What could be better than breathing in fresh air while keeping your body warm.

8. Snowshoe outing at the very edge of the world

The snow has come to cover our mountains and trees with a thick blanket of white, as the landscape changes and takes on a new allure. It’s time to get ready for your snowshoe outing. Contact our professionals to fully immerse yourself in the heart of nature.
Goal: the Carette hut, at the gateway to the Hauts Plateaux nature reserve.
Wrapped up warm with technical clothing (light for the climb and warmer for the descent), meet your guide and set off on adventure off the beaten trail.

9. Wellness break

The holidays are also the perfect time for resting. After a day skiing or simply for the pleasure of making yourself happy, take time for yourself and enjoy a moment of pure wellness. You’re sure to appreciate the benefits of a Spa. Relaxation, relax and detox … Close your eyes and let yourself be transported in our facilities, equipped with jacuzzi, hammam and sauna. And why not finish it all off with a relaxing massage or beauty treatment.
Here, everything invites you to let go

10. Torchlit descent evening

Find the ESF ski school instructors at dusk for an incredible nighttime show. Equipped with their electric torches, they nimbly make their way around the slopes and show you the true breadth of their skills. A demonstration of telemark skiing, speed skiing, handiskiing, synchronised sculling and old-fashioned skiing in period costume … Truly not to be missed!
And for a fantastic end to the evening: hot wine and fireworks are offered at the show’s close.
